This project was as close as I could get to crafting a fully immersive UI. One that kept the user in the game and the UI off the 2d side of the screen. The HUD is the only thing in Fight Now Mode that isn't "in engine".  The UI for Career Mode used the same design language, but we lost the time battle to getting that fully placed into the world. Several elements within Career Mode made it in-world but again, it's always down to time.

Snap shot of several of 3D in Engine screens we created for this game. What's amazing is that we didn't do any true modeling for the solution - it was a massive hack of flash and the rendering engine itself. I designed, established all visual language, placed and lit all screens in engine. call it "Stepping into the ring" as it takes the user from outside to inside the ring throughout the process of starting a game.

None of this would have been possible without the help of some amazingly talented dev support from people WAY smarter than I am. I am very proud of how this experience turned out.

Video walk through

I found this walk through video produced by "Rainbowwarriorguy" whom with I have zero affiliation, nor endorsement. I just found his video and it covers the majority of the UI throughout the game and I like showing fans interacting with the work.

Fan site design and development

Leveraging the visual language of the game UI, I lead an external development partner in the development of the MMA Brand / Fan site and owned the production through out from wire frame concepts, throughout the visual pass and final solution which landed on schedule and under budget.
